This is a national movement that started with A Talk On the Occasion of International Women’s Day in March 2012, given by Sunsara Taylor, writer for Revolution newspaper. We began with this Call to Action and since then, have carried out a program to resist and reject patriarchy everywhere it rears it’s ugly head, to challenge the ideas that have normalized the unacceptable economic, political, and social conditions of women and LGBT people, and inspire people everywhere to fight for a better world.
